It's Time to Go Home
When the NASBA Digital Home/Edge program launched in 2005, there were more than 100 committed IT professionals
who were up-to-speed on segments of the digital home market and related technologies. Today, there are more
than 900 Digital Home Integrators invested in this space, and we anticipate 2,000+ members will be designing,
building, installing and integrating digital home solutions by year-end.

Going Digital -- A Time of Flux
We have written extensively about the transition from the analog world to the digital one and the lack

this makes the decision process for someone trying to design a coherent solution for both today and
tomorrow. In the first of three articles about "the digital home," we review the many factors and
the ways in which they are currently in flux.

What Does She Really Want?
Do you often feel that clients thrive on challenging you with continuous project changes? Hmm, let me
guess . . . there's a woman behind it, isn't there? As women, we can assure you, it's nothing personal.
And there is a way to reduce the number of changes. In order to overcome the "changing mind challenge"
you must first understand that your female clients aren't necessarily changing their minds all the
time, but rather, growing more and more educated as digital home projects progress.

The Changing Face of Storage
The Storage Vision exhibit and conference at CES® let attendees see new storage technologies and
applications in one place, and hear about the relevancy and future of storage with a focus on CE
applications. The existence of multiple consumer devices generating islands of content-from PCs,
the Internet, iTunes and digital cameras to set-top devices for cable/satellite/IPTV will further
drive new requirements and form factors for home storage. Clearly, there are two important trends.
